Venessa Nadolnik

Psychologist

Venessa Nadolnik is a registered psychologist who completed her Master’s degree in

Psychology in Poland. She is Eating Disorder Credentialed with the Australian and

New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED), a nationally recognised

accreditation reflecting advanced training and clinical expertise in the assessment

and treatment of eating disorders.


Venessa offers a warm, collaborative, and direct therapeutic approach, working

closely with clients to create a safe and respectful space for exploration,

understanding, and meaningful change. She values open communication and

supports clients in developing insight, practical skills, and self-compassion alongside

evidence-based treatment.


Venessa works with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health

concerns, including anxiety and mood disorders, obsessive–compulsive disorder

(OCD), ADHD and autism spectrum presentations (with a particular interest in

supporting females and late-identified presentations), suicidal and self-harm

behaviours, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and childhood trauma. She has a

particular clinical interest in eating disorders and borderline personality disorder,

as well as difficulties with emotional regulation and complex relational patterns.


Eating Disorder Support

Venessa provides specialised treatment for a range of eating and feeding disorders,

including:

- Anorexia Nervosa

- Bulimia Nervosa

- Binge Eating Disorder

- Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)

- Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED), including Atypical

Anorexia

- Body image concerns and weight-related distress


Her work is grounded in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive

Behavioural Therapy – Enhanced (CBT-E) and Family-Based Treatment (FBT).

Depending on individual needs, Venessa also integrates Schema Therapy,


Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

(ACT).


Venessa accepts referrals under private fees, Medicare, NDIS, and WorkCover.

Appointments are available in person and via telehealth on Tuesday, Wednesday,

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
